The two handed swords really illustrates a few things to me. They are not using full swings at all but rather twisting around in order to get a cutting swipe, not how I imagined it. Also, the swords are a lot more whippy then I imagined, is this due to them being practice blades? The sound of them hitting is very tinny.

Yes, those are practice swords. They're made to be very thin and light so that you can actually hit your partner without breaking bones or knocking him the fuck out. Although even through the thick padding it seems like they can still deliver some pretty good hits - the one at 1:35 in the second video looks particularly painful.

Haha, those bows can be harder to pull than you'd think.

You just think because they're smaller, they're easier to draw?
Haha, hell no. You'd be surprised what draw weight these can be at maximum.

If I'm correct, bows like the Mongolian Recurve could even reach 160lb draw weight.
The Hungarian one was a nasty one too, so you're a bit wrong here.

It's not impressive at all since it doesn't even class as a weapon to begin with.

I can shoot nearly as fast as that with my 70lb recurve and those arrows will kill 3 ppl in a line.
