Here are some guidelines for applying to any Nordmen battles you may see up on the board.

1. State your region when you apply.
EU, NA, Oceania etc. This could be essential.

2. Give your class in the application.
Doing this may well get you hired, neglecting it might mean you won't even be considered.

Example application: "EU 18/21 1h+shield"

3. Check in on the Nordmen TS 45min before the battle.
You may get away with coming a bit later, especially if the battle is a small one. However, the sooner you get on TS, the better your chances are. You don't need to be active on TS while waiting, just join to indicate that you will definitely be at the battle.

You should do this even if you weren't hired for the battle earlier, and especially if you were hired at an earlier point but later unsigned. You may well get a slot meant for someone who didn't come to TS on time. If we still don't have room for you, we might remember you for the next battle.

When you join, right click on yourself and join the server groups matching your main character's build and class.

There are no guarantees about hiring or payment.
Generally the XP in any battles we're seeking outside mercs for will be its own reward, though we might offer top players some gold as an extra incentive.

havent Done anything for ages in strat I think I might be able to craft

Well, that can be arranged, we still have all the kittens we rescued from Templar hands at Samarra Castle. Mind you, they've grown up a bit over the past month. They're war-cats now, meowing for Crusader blood!

So far we're getting many applications, especially for the Mijayet battle, and it's forcing us to be very selective about who we choose. If you want to improve your odds of being hired, be sure to apply to attack both Mijayet and Aab!

Mijayet is over, and I think it's clear which side performed better and received a lot more XP. If you want to be on the winning team, apply for us at Aab! :)

Yes, you had better gear! I had to scavenge for decent weapons from fallen Templars (fortunately there were many).

One of the most exciting Strat battles I've ever been in, thank you to everybody who helped us. We didn't quite manage to clinch the end, but despite all the circumstances against us, this was the very definition of a pyrrhic victory for the enemy side. They can enjoy the feeling while it lasts! :)
