Title: Mysterious 1.270

Hello, I wanted to get the newest version, so I downloaded the installer. The installer ran succesfully, and so on. But, after starting the game, I attempted to join a server and it says the server is running version 1.270, even though I just downloaded and updated c-rpg today. It says I run version 1.232.

Also, when I try updating again, it says WSE does not work with my version of Mount and Blade. I downloaded the newest version of mount and blade, and it still says I need to update.

Requires further assistance from either cmp or Meow. His WSE launcher is not locating the 1.143 files for warband as far as I can tell. Either that or he didn't download the update properly (Improbable as I talked him through it).

You seem to be missing fmodex.dll which is a required file to be in your registry.
Download the following exe and follow the instructions:
 http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?fmodex
