Just curious if anyone else uses the mallet and feels this... it's the only weapon I can recall trying that distinctly felt like it had "anti-ghost reach" -- that is, the weapon appears longer than its actual impact zone.
Maybe I'm just not used to it yet, but pretty much every round I get a chance to say, "I'm pretty sure I hit that guy" during a whiff.

Dunno about the mallet but the great maul has some sort of area of doom in about a meter radius of wherever it lands. Think it just causes earthquakes which damage anyone near.
-
I reckon something like that with the mallet on my mauler guy.
The great maul is too slow while the mallet is the "balanced" one of the hammers, plus it looks awesome.
-
I have that feeling with all 2h hammers, not just the Mallet.
-
For some reason my overheads with the mallet hit my allies, even when they are to my sides, whilst missing enemies directly in front of me, sometimes. Like, facehugging an enemy, overhead, hit an ally to my side. Slightly annoying. :|

I noticed that when i used great maul. One guy moved while maul was on way to hit him,and i missed him totaly but he fell dead. i did'n touched him.

Mallet is OP,
you cannot spam its overhand and it just goes through my shield
