Hello everyone,
not sure this is the right section tho i try to post here.
I usually have a ping like 45/55 on crpg eu servers and also on native servers. I did play till yesterday with no problems at all, but today i have an incredible high ping, like 160. It's uniform, no spikes.
I haven't change anything in game settings or internet settings, i also did an online test and all seems to be normal.
Any one else has the same problem today or just me? anyway any suggetsion would be apreciate.

i have normally a ping of 18-29 but sometimes it goes up to 600 for a few minutes since a few days :?:

But i have no high spikes, just this 160 all the time. :( i'm sad

I have this problem too. Plz do something. :( Playing most of the time on Eu2.

My is actually solved, probably there were line issues.

My ping had been fixed a couple of weeks ago and now it's way too high during the evenings again...

I have 300 ping now, last time I tried to play I had 600 ping. This is on and off sometimes it lasts a few minutes, sometimes for hours. I do ping tests at pingtest.net and there is no problem with my connection.

Awesome now my ping is 400 on crpg.

i used to have ping 50-55,since few days it increased. i have now 70-80,and my connection speed has been increased to 10mg download,and 1 mb upload.
Not to mention some epic lags i had in strat battle. One second it is 80,next 140,next 545.

This is often a serious issue for me aswell. My usual ping is around 30 and lately it's been going over 100 on the evenings and at irregular times.

Ye, I often have the same problem, especially during daytime (european), 4pm - 10pm. Usually around 32 - 47 (max) ping and now very often 400-900 ping randomly for some minutes.
But I noticed that it is only during day for me, when I am playing at night european servers aren't that full and my ping is always normal.

Playing fine with normal ping for the last hour or so.
Now all of a sudden crpg servers give me 150 ping 5 mins later 200 ping and it gets worse and worse. This is not even prime time, I am pinging everywhere else just normally.
This is pretty dumb.

i think that is problem with providers. When a lot of ppl connect on internet they slow down traffic andthat is probably reason why is this happening.
Also number of players on server affect you ping.

I've long suspected my ISP of throttling my speeds.

I got the same problem and troubleshooted it. Found that the game server host, some german one, has problems in their network. Seems like one of the routes where traffic reach them get pretty busy at weird times for no reason or it is just borked. I already sent chadz some info about the subject and even emailed the company myself. Making it short. If you are joining the server from the west of its main location, you may be routed in the same route i am. You will notice about 60-80 more ping average at random times. The problem is in the hetzner.de network. The first hop once you reach the network is ok, the next 3 arent, making my latency twice that it should be. Can any of the admins tell the paying person to send them an email?. Having a gaming server meant for the whole europe, and then having borked routes for many players is just bad for a company hosting gaming servers... thanks.

Yeah tonight my ping has been horrible.
It should be at a steady 35-45 ping, which is what it has been for weeks. Now, it fluctuates between 110-130. Completely unplayable, all the NA servers.
And it doesn't seem to be a problem on my end, speedtest.net says everything is normal, and when I try and DL things it runs at the normal speeds. Even tried playing some STO and TOR, and my ping was just fine.

Pretty sad to say the least, going from high 30's, to high 130's has pretty much killed it.

Kinda lost the feeling of playing Warband since I always have to keep track which times I have a solid ping. These days my ping is always 70+ and my regular ping is 30 at max.

Same here. I can play crpg when their host let me... and many others are in this situation. Keep posting here so they may do something about...

Game is unplayable today. Ever since patch getting ridiculous pings and rubber banding.

The thing is there are two separate unrelated ping issues. One is the old super random ping spikes which are probably caused by the web providers and traffic. Second is unusually high but stable ping for some people since last few(?) days. Ping spikes are a normal thing and I got used to them but unusually high ping is not caused by high net traffic as it's 24/7 for me. I've been playing for more than 2 years and it's the worst stable ping I've seen on EU.
