Title: Drowning script
Post by: Angantyr on February 22, 2012, 04:57:58 pm
Please implement a drowning script, underwater fighting and last man hiding is pretty silly.

A few seconds with head submerged before HP start decreasing like in Vikingr would be nice, if you're feeling lazy I know someone to borrow it from.

Thank you for your time.

Nice idea - you should have an option to press someone underwater

Definitely needed, although I wish swimming could be added with it... I'd still take drowning without swimming.

Just to be clear: I'm not talking about the ability to fight while swimming.
Getting stuck in deep water and having to walk out is just as stupid as not drowning.

+1 for drowning but no swimming above a certain armor weight :)

Drowning is great for preventing submarine archer syndrome. Swimming would be cool if you are light enough.

Definitely needed. They have this on Deluge mod also. Thing I especially liked was that small rowing boats were needed to cross the small currents. HavenĀ“t had such a good laugh at warband for a long time when several row boats full of people were battling each other. Eventually I was the last survining man on our boat and enemy was boarding, happened I fleed to water... only to drown like a fool. It was so funny

Deluge mod has such an arsenal of new tools in use it almost feels like coming back to stone age when playing c-rpg.
