Hello, so I have a small question since I've been away for a couple months and some serious patches. What can an extra point of riding do for me? I've had a successful run this gen with my destrier. But I was going to switch up my build a bit and basically wanted to know whats the pros for a riding skill over the horses requirement these days.

Don't have exact numbers, but riding is useful.
Wanna test?
Create a new character, use Skip The Fun feature on it and go for 39agi 13 riding (for test purposes).
Then grind your way as a peasant till a Courser and then ride away, while listening to this song:
14 Roy Orbison - Ride Away

At 13 riding if you have a champion destrier you can almost bump people to death quite often. Some time 1 bump = instant death

?
Iam almost sure riding skill doesnt increase bump damage.

Iam almost sure riding skill doesnt increase bump damage.
But speed does.
Higher speed means higher speed bonus to damage. Try bumping enemies at like starting speed and try at full speed with courser.
You will see the difference.

Well yeah.I didnt think of that, thanks :D

riding skill increases speed and maneuver of your horse and sets apart the people that are inf and put some spare points into riding and true cav's.
Ive been a dedicated HA this gen again and the differnce between riding 6 to 7 is quite big.
Maybe its between my ears but it feels like i can out maneuver and out run most others now on my champ desert horse.

When i retire and back to lancer again i will have 11 riding again :D
