Title: The Blue Trousers on the Red Churburg Armour
Post by: Richter on February 22, 2012, 04:55:12 am
I have been playing as my very well dressed pikeman, and main character, Richter.
In all the armour sets I have selected, he looks excellent for a 15th-16th century Landsknecht.

I have one complaint though:

Don't see it?

Ogawd!

Und so, I am dismayed, and regretful, that the team has not fixed this minor and insignificant detail that hurts my pretty-ness.
Still, I would very much appreciate this being changed to a crimson.

Danken. Richter, Der Spiesstrager.

Edit:

This is why.

What this mod really needs is a proper and simple breastplate.

While you're at it fix the hideous yellow with a hint of green pants of the Gothic plate too. Perfect armour if it wasn't for that.

That is quite a cool look OP.

Wouldn't it make a bit more sense to take the screens during daytime? I can hardly see any colors in your screens

Would really like to have something like this.

Blue and red together were pretty popular landsknect colors  :)

It's OSP work of an individual WB modder not the cRPG development team btw.

Swiss guards FTW. They were the OP troops of the medieval period.

I guess my idea wasn't conveyed so well, or rather the reasons for it.

In the last spoiler's second image you can see the one thing that stands out about my armour set. I assume when Narf made the armours, he didn't bother changing the red churburg's breeches colour, because he probably did the blue churburg first.
It matters to me because I have to look at that blue all the time. Sure, I can press tilde, and look at the very cool front, but not when I'm fighting.

The only colours I want to be wearing are Leather Brown, Steel Grey, and Red.

Or you could open the .dds file with paint.net, use the lasso tool to select the breeches, change the color to red and save the .dds again.
