okay im an archer and i want to know if its better to loom a horn bow or a long bow? of course to use aswell, i like the horn bow speed but the long bow dmg seems good, what do you say?
-
I like hornbow for its versatility. But I know people who love their longbow and I think both are decent options.
Some people think that Rus bow is a much better option than the longbow, and I personally would agree with them but hey, it's about preference.
If you want to be a fast melee/mixing archer I recommend looming the hornbow.
If you want to do long distance stuff and be more of a cannon (but get owned in melee) then go with longbow.
-
can you hit alot when it counts?
if you can hit 95% of shots when being charged by a heavy plate guy(2h or pole from a close distance) then longbow
if you want to be able to spam arrows into the guy while running away then hornbow(but it will take ALOT more arrows from the hornbow)
so basicly
do you hit a lot of your shots? if so then longbow
do you miss a lot/do you want a more machine gun like feeling? then hornbow

Loom Yumi and trade it for Lonbow or hornbow + money.
Yumi is really interesting bow. Fast enough and most accurate bow.
-
most accurate is Long bow.
And mostly you need more skill using a long bow actually
cause with rus bow you can spam and Long Bow you need to concetrate.
-
Do NOT loom the longbow.
Try both unloomed first for at least half of level 30.
The longbow as it is right now is HORRIBLE.
-
Longbow never was most accurate. Even in our «Happy Times» - june - december of 2010.
There are simple rule about accuracy - if 2 bows have same accuracy, same requirement but different damage, then bow with less damage is more accurate.
If you'll loom Yumi, I'll trade any +1 (horn, rus, longbow) and 75k for +1 Yumi.
-
most accurate is Long bow.
Nice joke.
The longbow has the worst accuracy of all bows.
-
The yumi is quite unique. I feel no other bow has a similar arc.
