Title: Launcher and Security Issue
Post by: Korgoth on February 20, 2012, 01:44:44 am
This has only started happening the last week or so but it's really annoying..

Whenever my Internet Security is on it will delete the launcher because of Malware threats.

When I want to play I have to turn off my Internet Security, download the launcher then when I press "Play cRPG" on the launcher, a pop up comes up saying "WSE not found." Deleting my cRPG folder then running the launcher normally fixes that but I have to do that everytime I play and it's really frustrating!

What security do you use? If it is Norton, I can tell you how to keep that from happening.

I use Kaspersky 2012. I've used Kaspersky for years now and never had an issue with cRPG.

If you run the launcher, it will install something that Norton will flag with a popup. Click the popup and it will tell you the file it quarantined. At the bottom it should have "options." Click on that, and it will give you the option to restore and ignore it.

I hope that helps.
