Just be interested to see.
Also when someone claims to get 20 kills at lvl 15 nice to see if its bullshit and whether the speed monster that just owned you is lvl 33 or just good.
-
I support this, but not for the reasons stated in OP, it's just an interesting little addition that would make crpg that much more interesting.
-
I would rather have the mystery. I don't need people to find out that my main is actually a STF.
I also greatly prefer having the occasional surprise of "fake peasant" mucking about.
-
Another reason for player bitching on chat.
"You level crutching ****! You'd suck without those 33 levels!"
I'm sure we'd see a lot of talk like this from the immature idiots who love to talk smack like this.
While I'd like to see this, as it's very informative, It would backfire in a way imo.

We should have this but with an option to turn it off for your own characters if you don't want to share your level information.
-
But we already have this feature!
Oops. Sorry. Only us knights have this.

-1 everyone would only attack on the lower level characters. It gives too much information and you would be able to pick your fights and kill the weakest ones first when multiple enemies attack you. Like ToD said, I'd rather keep the mystery.
-
No,bad idea. Its better not knowing the enemy.

good point.
maybe one day there might be a way to visit other peoples character pages (like if you look at the biography, this feature will eventually get some more sense I hope) and you can find out their level there, if he/she wants to share it.
ingame? bad idea.

This I agree with and would be fine with.

I do not want to see the enemy level. I already dislike it in MMORPGs in open PvP. I wanna see the enemies equip and have to guess myself if it makes sense for me to attack or not. There was once a MMORPG where you could only guess the enemy level by the weapon (Silkroad Online). Later buffs were added sadly, so it was easy to identify the enemies characterlevel... However there is no need for in crpg imo. Level also does not matter that much as skill, so I voted no. )
