Title: Bots in Duel servers

Hello everyone.

If you guys have ever been to the Nditions duel server(I'm sure many of you have), you would have noticed some of the bots around. These bots are very good for practicing loads of different things, but mainly blocking and chambers. I think it would be a good addition to the duel servers.

If you haven't been on Nditions and don't know what it is, you should give it a try. Nditions_duel_server is a native server with some script additions that make it awesome and very good for training.

Also, that "trainer" bot on Nditions is invincible, so he's great fun to hit endlessly and get bloody :D

Is it possible to add?

Dont bother with the fighters just put multiple of those trainers in. I like those.

The best part of that trainer is shooting him full of arrows:

And I don't see any problem with using these bots on the cRPG duel server. chadz just needs to ask widow for the scripts and permisssion to use 'em.

I am not good at all and I've get a bit of practice on duel servers, but I think "advanced players" didn't enjoyed the "duels". Something like that would be good for noobs like me get a bit of practice.

I know that to be better you just have to play, but when you die almost instantly you don't learn that much...

The champion fighter is actually pretty frigging awesome. It sucked with 1h+shield, but now that it has a 2h weapon it's really nice blocking practice - and not only that, it only attacks if you're vulnerable, so you'll know when there's an opening in your feint sequence.

Tried the bots from Nditions and they are very good, the champion one kicks my ass :mrgreen:

Yeah, it's funny that even novice bot is chambering my overhead chambers ^^

i'd be happy if we could get 3 trainer guys, each with different speed.
so you'd have a slow one, one like in nditions and a fast one.

that would be awesome

So that Nditions thing, is that a native server where that is on? Sounds like a good place to train some manual blocking and maybe even try and see what that chambering thing is

Yeah, it's native duel server, just search your server list. It's very good for training blocks, chambers, fighting in general.
