Yes, it means roughly that something is desirable and cute. It is a mildly common word in a decent amount of age groups and people on the internet who like certain things.

your spelling is atrocious. But it means cute. it's pronounced ka-why-ee, as opposed to ka-why (still phonetic) which means scary.
I learned these things from my ex-gf when I was stationed in Japan. So I dont know if that counts.
Dont mistake it for Kauai, which is an island in Hawaii and is pronouced exactly the same.
