NOTE: this is from an indie softwarehouse, and if you are so cute to preorder it (25euros) untill the game is out you will keep getting a new alpha version from the devs while under development.
last alpha is a169, from 2/2/12 and it0s showing up really polished, specially the engine wich allows great dynamic combat (melee and weapons)

o.O?

Looks... cool i guess. o_o

i would like to add that the alpha versions u get it's filled with an awesome editor mode. Youc an spawn weapons enemie model your maps and most important:
you can EDIT animations. The top notch feature of this engine is to give very smooth feeling to all kind of animations, allowing to switch from an attack to a block , a jump or a dodge in an incredibly realistic way!
they say they use animal models to tune down the brutality XD
Single player, Coop and multi are supposed to be in final version, togheter with full mod support

It IS awesome. I love it. - I thought it was a stupid furry game till I tried Lugaru HD (Prequel), then bought this game coming with Natural Selection 2 @ http://www.wolfire.com/pack

Yeah Lugaru was fun and all, and this looks really nicely done. Just shows what can be done. Puts most large game developers to shame tbh, they may be lacking a storyline at this point in Overgrowth but big budget devs need to realise: we play games to escape from reality, stop making SUPERREALISTIC games of real life stuff: I did national service, I drive IRL, and when its nice weather I play football with my friends: I dont need games to simulate these things, I need games where I can climb ancient monoliths as a huge bunny and then dropkick a sword bearing wolf off a cliff and watch him ragdoll hundreds of metres below.

At least once a month I update my alpha build and give it an hour or two... already fun to play 8-)
