First of all i would like to thank you for taking the time to come and view my Faction thread, and heartily hope that you enjoy the content that i provide.
Now to business!After playing this mod off and on for a few months in the EU Duel server i have noticed that there are so many different styles of play, so many builds and tonnes of little techniques that players have developed to counter certain types of builds. I have realized that there are no set styles of play or skill sets taught to people, yes you may have friends teaching friends techniques but there is not any specific forms with specific moves. It then occurred to me that wouldn't it be great if i could create a melee form kin to that of martial arts so that players could get a great understanding of how to perform melee in one specific way. This could then lead to groups of people being able to work more efficiently in combat as a team due to them having the same knowledge of each others moves.

loginSo here is my proposition. Players of any skill level can join to learn any of the forms that my Dojo provides (primarily working with the katana) and will be able to attend either group or private training sessions with me, and i will over the course of a number of weeks teach different techniques that have been refined to work well with the style. Players are free to leave at any point but players that show potential will be encouraged to stay on and eventually help me to refine a technique or make a form of their own to be taught by them in the Dojo. The Dojo will be hosted on a server which i will pay for and training sessions will be held at different points in the week. I will also arrange a Teamspeak server for easy contact between players during training sessions.
I have also considered teaming up with some Clans / Factions so that open days will be arranged and faction leaders / recruiters can come and recruit some of the talented members. Meaning that the Dojo can also work like a filter for Clans ie. the Dojo trains new players up to the point where they will be talented enough to compete with clans. So if you are reading this as a clan member leave a reply telling me if you would like to be partnered up with the dojo.
As of now the members of the Dojo will not operate within strategus or clan battles but will definitely host dueling tournaments and open days for all players to attend.
