Got a new computer... got a new version of WB so I can get the achievements... no more chars.

am I f****d?

lol, yeah, you have to start over.

HOWEVER the game is brilliant when run fully maxed out and over 100fps, get yourself one of the updated texture mods and enjoy starting anew.  With the new system you can have a toon at 25+ in a day or two and rockin some nice gear.

Could you be so kind, fine sir, as to link us to the mentioned texture mod. My HD5870 feels neglected when I'm playing M&B:WB.

Why would you get a new version of WB? Can't you just use your cd-key in steam?

Yeah paste your CD-Key in Steam and you should have access to your original account.

As for the new copy, give it to a friend or use it for dual boxing (don't really :P)

Never used steam, does it still work if I just got steam now?

You can just enter your cd-key in steam, to get the game there. You don't need to buy it on steam.
