Hey all! I'm glad to have returned to Warband and c-RPG!
One question, my build is 2H polearm, 24/15 with:
Iron Flesh 3
Power Strike 8
Athletics 4
Weapon Master 4
And I have a spare skill point at the moment (and will have 3 more at lvl 30). The question is: Is it worth to raise Athletics to 5 given the fact that I wear a heraldic mail with tabard, barbutte (head) and long bardiche (polearm)? I guess I wouldn't notice the difference, huh?
I'd like to know if it would be better investing the skill point in WM... and the additional 3 points when I reach lvl30 into IF, instead of Athletics.
Thanks!

You will notice the difference.

This was my old 2h build, it might be usefull for you, it worked fine for me. It's really a siege build, but can work in battle too. It will work best with medium/heavy armour (not too heavy).
Str: 24
Agi: 15
Skills to Attributes: 6
Iron Flesh: 8
Power Strike: 8
Athletics: 5
Weapons Master: 5

Athletics is an incredibly useful skill. Definitely increase it. PROTIP: Faster movement, when used properly, correlates to faster attack speed.

5 ath ofc. and invest a couple points in shield skill, it will really help vs archers i think

Thanks everybody for your feedback! I'll try the athletics 5 and check if I notice the difference with 4 hehe

Just gonna point this out. No reason to go higher WM unless you're gonna get an additional wpf type. Melee only need to get above 110wpf to be fully effective.

Oh, I didn't know of that cap in the wpf. Thanks for the tip!

It's not a cap, and you DO get better. But you have to pay more WPP (weapon proficiency points) for every +1 WPF (weapon proficiency factor), so you spend a lot of WPP to not get very much wpf. And the difference really isn't that big. That's what I'm saying. Better to get 130 wpf in one and 100 in another, than 156wpf in only one, agreed?
