Why the fuck can't my arbalest 1 hit archers? With the 1 and a half thoudand gold repairs and shit accuracy this should really be able to happen eh?

not anymore, even the most people with shitty armor can survive +3 steel bolts & +3 arbalest headshots.

Why the fuck can't my pollaxe 1-shot archers?  With 1k in repairs and having to dodge their arrows and get into swinging range, you'd think this'd be able to happen, eh?

Odd, mine can unless the archer is wearing some ridiculously high armour for an archer akin to a front line melee user.

My archer is packing 6 IF... That might be why, they could have built them to not explode from a feint breez aka arb bolts.

It goes down to build, always has always will. A guy with 8IF 8PS and 69 points of armour, is going to flip you upside down and fuck you in the face... not going to go down from one shot. Hell I couched a plate user with a great lance at full trot on a rouncey... he got back up.

I've had no problem one shotting archers from medium range and sometimes long range. I can also 1 shot heavy infantry from point blank range if I get the right shot off. I'd say the arbalest is right where it needs to be.

I got 1 shooted by Heavy crossbow and it was not fun. I am 100% sure of it. I always get 1 shooted all the time (I only had 45 hp)

I get 1 shot by melee weapon all the time. 15 str no IF low armor. I 1 shot people with low IF-Armor in close to medium-distance, fairly regular, mostly archers or other range tho (and low level chars of course).
