Title: Retiring and Loom points question
Post by: Ridicule on February 10, 2012, 06:38:01 am
So I have two characters, both of them level 30, close to 31, both first gen.  What should be the first items that I loom for them?  I've been playing a ton of rageball.  Should I go with chest piece or weapons first?  I'm leaning towards armor first because it seems like a lot of the time you can find a masterwork weapon lying on the ground.

Thanks for any suggestions.

It kind of depends.

For example, until this gen I swapped out what armor I was wearing every couple maps, so it didn't make any sense for me to loom it. On the other hand, if you switch weapons a lot then you might want to loom your armor.

It really isn't too big of a deal, just go with what you use the most.

Most often it's better to sell the loom point and to buy a specific heirloom item on the market (at least for your main). You can think about sacrifying your alt also.
I would heirloom the item which you use most often. I would heirloom the weapon.

But if you want to heirloom your armor I would think about the gauntlets. You can wear gauntlets to a lot of different armor sets. Take a look at the stats of heirloomed gauntlets.

Adding to Kherr, If armour: gauntlets. Otherwise, you're favourite weapon

My first retirement i sold my loom point for like 500k, and was able to buy the item I was going to loom anyways for about 350k.
