Title: Abuse of Balancing by Greys
Post by: Elmetiacos on February 08, 2012, 09:34:43 pm
I can't remember which admin it was who warned the Grey Order about going spec  in sieges in order to make sure they stayed on the winning side, but if that person is still interested, I have a screenshot of them doing it again which I can post.

They're still doing it atm if anyone cares, which I doubt.

edit: with admins present

Well, sadly it's hard to judge without having fraps or a lot of screenshot evidence.
I will request team switches to be added to the server logs which would make it easily possible to track those attempts to circumvent the autobalance even days later.
When that happens those guys are gone in no time.

For now, if you post a ban request please add the screenshots, obviously we want evidence of it, a request without them is pointless.

Rather an unusual number of specs here - two are Greys one of whom had gone spec after spawning on the "wrong" side:

People do this shit all the time, but it's really hard to stop.

Like I often see people with tags (mostly cav) that just run around basically naked when they get on the "wrong" team and shit like that.

Hmm, but rule exactly would be broken? All they do is chose a team, they don't make part of the autobalance in 1st round anyway and then switch to spectator.

To keep their multiplier and play with the clan instead of fucking over eachother. I would understand it'd be bannable to switch around all the times to try to get in the right team but this isn't the case if I am reading correctly?

Some of them try once to get to the "right" team, if they fail, they join spec^^

This is the problem, so far i got no evidence that this happened, all i saw was them being in spec or on a team but not going from the wrong team into spec and then to the right team (or wrong team) again.

So i will lock this for now.
As soon as this is visible in the logs this won't be a problem anymore
