I say release beer on them :D

Made by an idiot who will bring in 0% of the ideas, etc for M&B2.
-
As much as a find the devs do a crappy job most of the time, i'd rather the multilayer be ran by the community. i love how the Crpg community is so small, you can join EU1 and know nearly everybody in there. i love that
-
That's good, at least people don't want them to copy C-RPG's concept. Couldn't ask for a better result in a poll.
It would be a real douche move if they were to ignore community developers for then to steal their ideas.
-
^_^
Jep, cRPG shouldn't be copied to make a new game... Native is fine like now and should be used in M&B2 too, just with a bit more balance.

What a bunch of tards, native rejects? I can beat 95% of them in native in a whim. Fuck yes native is boring with its ever same maps and ever same combat mechanics and always the same gameplay that is basically:
INFANTRY SPAWN
/ \
DONT USE A SHIELD USE A SHIELD
/ / \
DIE GET LANCED COVER ARCHERS
ARCHERS SPAWN
/ \
WIN GAME RUN AWAY
CAVALRY SPAWN
/ \
THROWING AXE IN THE FACE CHASE HORSE ARCHERS AND DIE

Pretty much sums up Native

I wonder why native duels never felt like a challenge for me.
-
That thread pretty much reminds me why I never gave a flying damn about native, and it's "community".

Hopefully we will see some kind of port. If M&B2 ever even happens.
Looks like WoTR and AoC are going to be beating down the door a lot sooner than M&B2. The combat system for the new AoC sounds fucking awesome.
The one thing I do love about Native is when the Khergits get on and everyone rushes to them and then down votes every change from there to the end of time.
I mean really... uber horse archers... how was that team a good idea.
-
Native is better.
-
Yeah please don't include our cRPG in M&B2, port it over instead we don't want the current nativetards anywhere near. :)
-
Truth to be told, this thread makes me a sad panda. Not because of the hate towards cRPG, you get used to that. No, it's the fact that two different gamemodes of the same game can cause such bias and such a split. With the same game mechanics.
This is why I want to propose a competition. The best players of Native vs the best players of cRPG. 2 Battle rounds in a fair environment, one in Native, one in cRPG with equal chars. In the end, it might prove something. Something that should have been proven a long time ago.
It might prove that we can have fun playing together.
I think this was the best reply and received no response.

I really hope no levelling system will come to M&B 2, and it probably won't. cRPG is good and all, but i really don't warband to turn into a game that is based on grinding not on skill. You can always make another mod for M&B 2.
-
I love how everyone casually ignored chadz post in that thread. And instead got transfixed on Oberyn
-
Going throuh crpg development for over 1 1/2 years, I can tell (and many others can also), that it got so friendly for new players....
These guys base their arguements on biased wannabe facts.
Miwiwi, pro crpg player.....made me laugh, k thx, now go lorn more.

I would like ranks, that do nothing but show your and only YOUR progress, meaning that they don't stand next to your name, and don't add anything but...banners! I'd like it if by playing instead of achievements/unlockable perks you unlocked banners that you could use.(some solely trough SP, some trough MP, some trough completing xxx objective)
It is true that warband could use some sort of a reward system, or simply a system that keeps track of your progress in some way.
Bitch, bet I can hit prestige 50 before you.
-
hahaha I join the nditions duel server just to see that the best player there is oberyn, and after a few minutes Im the second best (k/d ratio wise). Native players really suck hard. You can just hit so fast that its easy to kill people ...
Half those people were probably cRPG players :D

Good, I am happy you laughed. :)
Pro however doesnt mean being good. Actually I cant say Im pro, as I dont earn any money by playing. Sadly. *cry smiley*
-
Yeah, back when I hopped onto the nditions(or whatever) duel server a while ago I killed like 70% of the server without many problems(I dont think the REALLY good duelers were online at that time, but still), and Im just an average cRPG player.
-
Why would you start something like this here as well?
-
Im both Native and cRPG player, any time i play on either one them, i see hate towards the other. I do personally prefer native since i like competitive play. Why most casual cRPG players think that native players suck is probably since they join a random server, like 22nd siege or even nditions and just kill random players there. Casual cRPG players are probably better then casuals in native, since if you want to play cRPG you have to invest some more time into it then native just to grind and you will improve atleast somewhat while doing it. There is no doubt though that at the highest level native players are much better since they focus on improving instead of grinding.
I don't see why all the hate towards the other though. cRPG is meant for a more casual crowd while native is for higher level competitive play. Nothing wrong with either, just a matter of personal preference.
For M&B2 i do think that there should be no levelling system. It would seriosuly hinder competetive play, you can always make another mod for that. Although some kind of ranking system etc that dosen't affect your character ingame abilities might be fun.

Anyway, crisis over, thread dead, go home.
