Title: lost my character

hello,
I lost all my equipement, gold and lvl since a bro tried to played with his character.
So after that i created a new profile with the same name (Murthag) because i tought my profile was deleted on the game (the fact is that i didn't see my profile on the profile list), and I connected with the new profile on the server and there was no stuff, lost all my lvl etc... Then i tried to connected with my ancient profile on the game and same thing.

I dont know what can I do?

Here's what I think might be going on, since your friend tried logging in with his character on his cd-key, your character is not being recognized because it is on a different cd-key now, and, since your old character still exists, it's as if you are using a already taken name. Being lvl 1 naked etc.

Does your character still have the lvls and etc on the site?

Yes i still have all my lvl on the website! I tought that i will recover my character today but nothing change =/ =/ =(
Maybe i can uninstall the game and reinstall it after and see what happened

From what I'm seeing it seems clear to me that it's probably a cd-key mix, was your friend able to log into his character and play at the time? If so, you're probably using the wrong cd-key which means your character isn't being recognized as the original user of the name, so, it would be as if someone else was trying to use your name.

I just had this happen also.
I am logged into my steam acct (which uses unique cd key for game)
i join the server and it joins really quick without pulling my char from the c-rpg.net server so I am naked
I can log into c-rpg.net just fine and it shows my char right.
help plz

The same thing is happening as when you try to log in to your char logged into someone elses steam account.

Is there a way to see if my char somehow got unlinked from my cd key?

My char is almost gen14 so I really dont want to start from scratch

I recover my character :D !

I uninstall the game and delete crpg folder, and then i reinstall the game and crpg mod. So Murchad you know what to do :)

Yes, warband stores your cd-key in the registry. You might google up how to change your cd-key, without reinstalling the game.
