Have wondered for awhile now how many actually use banner packs that play c-rpg.
Hopefully this will answer that question for me :P

The new clan banner pack is 100% more beautiful than the old one obviously

I used the old one until i had to reinstall and I could not download it any more, so now i use the new one

I Use Arkeds old one. It has less of the stupid looking banners (like lljk) and it has the better Templar cross isntead of the current one so i use that :P

And my clan is among the few that had a perfectly fitting banner in the Native banner pack.

I did too, until I finally decided that using a banner pack from 6 months back is dumb and installed the regular banner pack. Now I regret it, and if I can be arsed I'll reinstall Arked's one. If someone would just take up his noble work.
And yes, the templar cross looks retarded, I'm amazed how someone ever picked that one over the one that is in Arked's.

No, the rules have changed. Lettering is now unfortunately allowed (Noobs 4 boobs) and in general more stupid banners have been added (thats at least my opinion)

It doesn't have the stupid looking banners like the normal one. And the Wolper banner looks better too :D

In essence yes. Though now I've included the changes to heraldic backgrounds, making the banners a lot nicer in game on heraldic armour. So that's a new feature as such :P

The only banners that have been added are new clans. Most of them are less stupid looking than some of the clan banners that were already there. There are a couple which are questionable, but the point is it's a clan banner pack. It's not focused so much on quality, more on getting the clans their own banners.
Noobs 4 Boobs also wasn't the first clan to have lettering. There was ephesus and one other before that, both of which have now been removed due to inactivity. I allowed Noobs 4 Boobs simply because they are rather active and have a decent number of members.
Regardless, if someone made a more up to date version of Arked's banner pack, I would be happy to post alternative links to it in the clan banner pack thread. Fact is not many people cba to keep on top of this despite the fact it doesn't take much time :wink:

It would perhaps be practical if some kind of 'official' collection of banners, public and clan alike, were decided upon and included in the base module, so that everyone sees the same banners. This is the only MP mod that hasn't done so, as far as I know.

Oh yes, the absence of the illustrious 'Fish' is the exact reason I cannot use the clan banner pack :?
