It doesn't make it dynamic, it doesn't make it astmospheric.
It adds nothing to the game whatsoever.

Movement speed penalty, slowing down both players and horses.
Archery receive small missile speed decrease
Crossbows receive a large missile speed decrease

Yes I know but my point is that; when have you ever thought any of that was adding anything of significance to the game?
It's not exactly "Oh it's raining, I'd best adjust all my tactics and playstyle to suit this weather change!", it's "Oh ffs it's raining, why the hell does it have to rain, what is this adding to anything". I mean it would be nice to keep the weather effects, just not the adverse effects.
Just my take on it anyway.

Hate night, hate rain, don't mind fog. Remove night and rain! 8-)

I'd like to see rain and night removed. Even when it's "twilight" it's a lot harder to see weapons, I have to actually strain my eyes (especially on the horse). Fighting in the day time is so much easier on the eyes.

I agree. I think that the range nerfs are quite sufficient without additional random penalty tossed in to skew the numbers.

I'm all for removing rain as long as we replace it with sleet and/or tornadoes.

The chance of rain seems to exceed 50%. We'll get one map with rain, then a map without, then two maps with rain, then a map without etc. Can we at least move the maps away from the tropical rain forest?

rain is somewhat annoying but i see people bitch about FOG more than anything. less fog pls.

Rain is good for STR based melee builds. Sadly I'm nt one of them :(

Keep rain
Add baking hot sunshine with the following effects
- Slows horses down
- Increases weight penalties on wpf and running speed

It affects all classes.
Not in the same way. My biggest strength is speed and acceleration. Rain makes me slow just like everyone else.
STR oriented build has high PS therefore deal shitload of damage. Speed and acc aren't his best features. When it's raining his damage stays the same and he's just a little bit slower than AGI build.
Also I think that horses don't give a fuck about rain.
Edit: Rain and nighttime effects in this game sux. They add nothing to the atmosphere because they are so bad.
If you care so much about such details why you don't add that mod which would make flailing flags possible?
Playing c-rpg during the clear day feels good. Playing when it's raining makes me feel really depressed and playing during night makes me wanna kill myself.

Can devs finally lower rain chance. This shit is absolutely unrealistic. There is not country in continental Europe when is raining every other hour or even more often.
