Eh, I am NA and I have play the EUs...

We can also argue that there were many trolls who voted Yes for the sake of voting yes.

Regardless, all is done and Lilith is to stay.

So in this case, the 1 vote meaned a 0.2% difference.

And the 51% was away from 6 votes :s

Erm, if you look below his avatar, it shows his in_game names, as well as the fact that most of us know who that person plays anyways...  :lol:

Also, it would not surprise me if the "yes" voters were known. The TWC forums for example, ALL admin and super-mods can see who voted where so that "fake account" votes can be deleted and infracted.

Aye, shows that the whole idea of polling out admins doesnt really work. Of course, I dont know everyone who voted, so I dont know all of their intentions, but from what Ive seen written: There were lots of what we call cats (people who vote yes just to see what will happen), ragers (omg, he kicked me when I tked, hes abusing!), trolls, people mobilised by their clans (omg, he dared to punish one of our dear clanmates for tking, hes abusing!), and general whiners (like Hamleigh, who gotta question EVERY SINGLE MOVE an admin makes, and is NEVER happy with ONE SINGLE decision).
Of course, some of those who voted yes do probably have some proper reasons. Too bad they dont contact me with whats on their mind. I cant improve my admining by people keeping silent. My inbox is always open for good constructive critisism (sorry hamleigh, that excludes you).

There are 154 people who voted yes, it takes 15 to start another vote. They could probably just try again, assuming the 15 were different than last time. 154-15=139. Still plenty to do it. This guy better be pretty lucky.

I voted no. Never really saw Lilith abusing. Can't expect everyone to always be on their best behavior, even as an admin. Wooki deserved his removal, Lilith doesn't.

Right now this system seems to work better than the previous one, since wookie got voted out and lilith confirmed, which was what everyone expected. A few refinements are needed but it doesn't look too bad, in addition to what was previously suggested, only eu players should be able to vote on eu admin polls.

This is unfortunately impossible to implement, considering that anyone can play on any server, so how would you distinguish?
If there was some sort of Server tag for players that might work, but then you have the issue of players who play on other servers (Like me).

I think the fact that NA-players actually vote is just another proof of how silly this whole poll is. Most NA-players dont have any experience with me adminning but still vote, maybe on rumors or something. Which means people who only rely on rumors or "I hate people with power"-attitude can tip the vote.
Ofc, this on top of EU-users who vote for the wrong reasons:
-Make the admin happy so he dont kick/ban me next time I break rules (sorry dudes, doesnt work like that)
-Wanting to keep a clanmate in power
-Being angry for some silly reason like
*Their clan not getting immunity from enforcement of the rules (Like the templars).
*Being kicked/banned for tking or in other ways breaking the rules in a bad way
*Having a friend who got kicked/banned for tking or in other ways breaking the rules in a bad way
*Just generally hating anyone with power or privilegies
*Disagreeing about the rules (at least when it comes to emself)
*Heard a rumor
*Cats (vote yes to see if chadz is gonna demote the person)
*Trolls
Something I forgot?

Also we got the motivation-part. People who wanna remove an admin got higher motivation to get in to the forum to whine or vote than people who are happy.
