Lemme bet: Something related to the ottoman empire..?Ofc not it's related to martians =P
i know what you're gonna post here =). Just don't make the poll so biased ;) .I can't promise
There are quite a lot of turkish stuff imo, but i have to say that the heavy ones look really epic and i want to see them inAh c'mon , Ottoman empire was a vast empire.
but this is not a critic. for me, poor uncivilized european, those armors are a bit from the "same area". And saying that the ottoman empire was vast is no way an argument to saying that they should have more items in crpg :DAh c'mon we have a communication fail i think.
but dont get me wrong, thos two heavy armors look really cool and i would love to see them in game ( and euro armors look kinda weak methinks)
we have a slight misunderstanding, i said same area, not army! :)Thanks for your kindness and comments , im not going to continue this discussion aswell :)
but anyway, this is not a thread to discuss this kind of stuff and i really couldnt be bothered. dont want to derail your thread and i hope to see those heavy armors in game 8-)
Too much beard.Man up.
Whereas a lot of you guys obviously are religious, and you unironically bring in real life religious bullshit in a game.If you got that impression, then they are probably better "roleplaying". I've spent much time in TS so far, and dont remember even one guy being political religious. Not even back when turkish Clans where not splitted.
Cool armors and they should be added, and I look forward to using them but you're not "roleplaying" Islamic theme. The Templars are actually roleplaying because, you know, they're not religious in RL, and their in game religion is a joke about chadz being the Creator, and they mostly make fun of the fanaticism of the knightly religious orders. Whereas a lot of you guys obviously are religious, and you unironically bring in real life religious bullshit in a game.

If we get Muslim armours for roleplaying muslims, I want crusader armours, too. Templars, Hospitallers (both the black coats from pre-1259 and the red ones from after this year), Teutonics, Knights of the Holy Sepulcher, Knights of St. Lazarus, Knights of St. Thomas of Acre, Knights of Santiago, Knights of Alcántara, Knights of Calatrava, or the Sword Brethren.

I loled at Oberyn thinking all of us are mujahideens irl .
Actually I would already be satisfied if some new textures to existing mails with surcoats would be added. Entirely new modles would not be needed, as well as the assisstance of the unbalancing team :P .Western armours already were in Native mostly, so other cultures got added to make a complete package. There are plenty of western armours in the game, they have just lost their novelty value. Really, count them, they are probably the biggest culture armour group.
I just don't like the fact that we have armours added for weaboos, Vikings, Russians and Turks, but except of a few plate armours and a few different colours for surcoats there is nothing new (compared to Native) for players who like the western European style. Yes, a few helmets were added, but these were either plate (like all western armour would only be plate and vice versa  ) or are coloured, so if you care about your look the coloured helmets don't fit to all armours. And the choice of helmets for western players was already decent, but I feel a lack of pretty western armours... :?

I would appreciate it if you already prepared the proper images for the website BEFORE you implement the items. And, of course, add the images for the items that got introduced weeks ago and still all look like a white square with a red cross on it... :?
look amazing, please add devs

The deli outfit for the world !!!!I reckon they are valid but would you mind posting sources for these three illustrations?(click to show/hide)(click to show/hide)(click to show/hide)
PS: koyama ekle bunları referansa
Bashibazouk SetKoyama, would you please also post sources for these references? I'm not at all trying to deny their authenticity but a video game picture and two illustrations that looks quite different is hardly very convincing pictorial evidence.(click to show/hide)(click to show/hide)(click to show/hide)(click to show/hide)

They look very interesting, what for example is that on the forehead of the third soldier from the left in the second picture, is it crobbed hair? And is there some special reason or history behind the soldiers mutilating themselves on the third one, some kind of tradition perhaps?
Looking forward to seeing this armor pack in-game, btw, Medieval Eastern styles are very beautiful.
If you want certain models in cRPG, make them.

Thank you.
Search for : Angus McBride btw he's the illustrator of most of those pics out there ;)
No need to do so, many of his pics are to be found here (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,25145.0.html) :wink:Wow nice =)
whats up with the helmets?
Thank you koyama and BattalGazi.
I have in the past read up on different branches of the Ottoman army but these interesting self-mutilation rituals of the Deli have escaped me. Reminds me a bit of the tales from WW1 about Turkish soldiers collecting ears of their enemy's fallen to make into necklaces. I know many (most probably) armies throughout history have had this kind of trophy hunting (see for example the many examples of US soldiers doing this in Iraq, Afghanistan and particularly Vietnam), but it's supposed to have been especially wide-spread among Turks in WW1 (though it may have been over-emphasized by Western historians my source is neutral Danish doctors and nurses).
Ha ha, oh well, at least I can assure you I personally harbour no illusions Turkish soldiers are neither less nor more brutal than soldiers from other places, nor have I ever spend the time to investigate if this phenomenon was well-documented.War is war .
It is given that any army with significant combat experience will have its share of bloody traditions.
War is war .it depends on the reason, im not justifying all murder its just sometimes one does not have the choice
I've never heard of turkish soldiers collecting ears from fallen soldiers in WW1 but i've heard the same thing for a turkish private collecting ears from fallen pkk terrorists in late 1990s or early 2000s.Not sure if its real tho but to be honest i don't care.
I don't think that collecting a piece from a death body is worse than killing a living body . Corpse is a corpse if you don't collect ears from it it'll rot anyway but killing a living creature for any reason should be resulted in permaban from universe .
Wearing turbans should grant the user splash dmg on death to take out as many infidels as possible :mrgreen:Alas i lured the boobs of epicness into this thread !
Btw nice heavy armors dont like the pyjamas tho... :P
Alas i lured the boobs of epicness into this thread !go to his sell page in the marketplace......i was surprised by committed he is to these to say the least
he is to these to say the leastWtf is this ?
Looking good to me, basiclly 2 kuyak reworks that look good and the yellow mail jacket that looks unique.Only pelt is from kuyak (couldn't bother to make something that time consuming), rest is new, you'll see when they add it in game, and thanks ;)
No more ugly bullshit items please, there is enough crap already :/Indeed , start removing crap from premises of cRPG, start by quitting the game.
I like all of it, but especially the yawshan (sp?) because it could possibly add alot of variation in the Kuyak department.yawshan looks way heavier than a kuyak imo
yawshan looks way heavier than a kuyak imo
when will this pack of armors be added?any clue?
I think devs will release shitloads of items with next patch not only those items that we made .there are tons of turbans :D
If your cRPG is up to date , go to modules/cRPG/resources and open Yomans_Helmets,Almansur_Helmets and zimke_crpg with OpenBRF .
You'll understand what i mean ;)
You meant heavy yawshan i think.
Yes that's it, I must have it.Yeap :D
I expect you to have a +3 yawshan in the bazouk shop soon after release ;)
Franky you bundle of sticks come to steam i need you few thingsJebem ti matirnu supak pusi mi kurac !
btw. Fasa dont implement these shitty armors, ty!
Why are we adding new armors that only say 5 people will use? Give us more fun items. All this other crap is not needed.
inb4 being e-sacrificed to Allah by Turkish members.
Lord Voldemort will protect me.the worst villain of all times lol
I think devs will release shitloads of items with next patch not only those items that we made .Man there are some killer helmets in the Almansur_Helmets file. Surely hope some of those make it in.
