Title: Iron Sky
Post by: Ninja_Khorin on January 26, 2012, 07:09:36 am
From the makers of Star Wreck(a Finnish parody of Star Trek and Babylon 5. It's in Finnish, but I know quite a lot of foreigners who like it so if you're a bit of a sci-fi geek like me you will enjoy it.) comes Iron Sky. It's in English so that you 'Mericans who can't read can also enjoy it.
It's about chocolate chip cookies that escaped to the moon in 1945 and in 2018 they attack again. Without further ado, here are the trailers.

I remember watching Star Wreck.
Even though I'm not a trekkie or fan of stuff like this, I found it hilarious.
Especially Fuckov
Can't wait to see this one. I guess the Moon reich will lose in the movie, though. Is there a script available?
I'd like a change where the "baddies" win for once. All that "meteorblitzkrieg" stuff is just too badass. :)

Star Wreck
Depends on how you define baddies. That Sarah Palin character as president seems equally scary to me as the moon chocolate chip cookies. I don't know and I do not want to know who wins.

Damnit. :)
Corrected.
Yeah, better not to know, we'll see. :)
My guess is a goofy "no one wins" situation. :D

Dead snow was great movie. I hope this one will at least hold a candle to it.

Man I'm so exited about this movie. It might be the turning point on Finnish film industry. Literally, this is an indie comedy-scifi film financed with donations and independent partys, yet it's the most expensive Finnish movie in our history lol. Definently gona watch it on the on tour, since it's not certain that it's going to be shown in atleast any big movie theatres.

They're still negotiating. This is the last I read about it:
"We have distribution deals for approximately 30 countries, with most of Europe covered, but we are in negotiations for example for North America, India, Russia, Italy and Latin America."
