Title: Lose multiplier if you join spectator.
Post by: Joxer on February 25, 2011, 04:37:55 pm
Recently I saw this on a battle server. There was a shit team and a equally shitty tactic. Half of the team was wiped out almost immediately. There was perhaps something like 8 guys left and pretty much the rest of the enemy team. 2 guys instead of fighting to the death joined spectator and allowed the remaining 5 to be slaughtered. Needless to say they were back in game in the next round.

Sounds similar to the exploit people used (still some try to do) on the siege servers. Falls under the "do not exploit" rule, and will get you banned a good time if catched. Knowing that it is possible in battle, too, admins can keep a watchful eye there.

The problem is if you lose multiplier when joining spectator you won't be able to keep your multiplier when map changes, so you will only get x5 max for 1 round, than next map everyone starts from x1 again.
