Great pic! But please be aware that we are usink kettle helmets :)
Also thanks for a fist siege, was a real fun, for the first time I saw all defense slots occupied ;)
Also could you please check the flag system..they simply wont fall

I said this in the battle already, flags were going down. I saw a few downed flags at various points and raised them back up. What you guys need to remember is that you can't drop flags while there are still enemies near to them, meaning you need to actually establish a proper foothold on the walls before you can start disabling spawns there. I'm afraid I didn't see you guys doing much of that last night. :P

Well its hard to establish a foot hold when guys continually spawn there okiN.

When there are 78 defenders on such a small castle it really is rather hard.

Sti;l i enjoyed the siege, and look forward to the second assault today. Strategus is more satisfying when there are people to fight, and both sides have decent equipment.

Although next time we siege a castle, proper siege equipment will have to be brought.

Just a defense thread, you can hardly blame us for trying to organize neutral fiefs against you. Kittens angle for fun, hardly doubt anyone can't see that.

I relish the opportunity for a proper fight, and the castle shall soon be mine to lord over.

I think everyone on both sides has actually enjoyed these fights, a rarity in strategus.

Hopefully i'll be able to upload the footage i've gathered onto youtube at some point. But currently WMM is taking so long to render it i get bored :L

Yeah, had fun in the Samarra battles, easy castle structure to defend though.

Also stop using Windows Movie Manager would be a good first step in terms of creating videos :P then get Sony Vegas as a minimum, its quick to learn anyway. So few Strategus videos on YT so be sure to put it up.

Bah that sounds like effort to me!

Update: Problem was with the raw footage. Files have become corrupted and the sound in both of them is fucked.  Makes it hard for WMM to render anything i guess, considering how useless the program is.  I'll upload the raw footage but it wont be anything fancy.

For some reason the audio cuts as soon as you start spawning? Makes for some very dull silent films.

i think it cant cope with a packed TS channel and all the battle sounds at once

Anyway, most of the footage is me falling of ladders or getting shot :P
