NA 1, about a minute into the round. Melee all around me. A friendly on a horse gets stopped and an enemy lances him. His horse survives. I hear no whistles for it, and dont want it to run people on my team down... so I kill it. This all happens quickly. I killed the horse about 2-3 seconds after the friendly died off it.
Then that friendly about 2 seconds later reports me.... ok. I did not attack him. He was already dead. I killed his now empty horse. So his report was clearly inaccurate and shouldnt have been. So theres some sort of glitch or whatever that allows a false report.

Maybe you hit him shortly before that all happened?

It wasn't me that hit M. An enemy killed that teammember. Not me. I then killed that DEAD teammember's HORSE. That dead team member then pressed M and reported me. I was not anywhere close enough to hit him when he died, nor did I even swing. I did not hit him or touch him (or anyone for that matter, the round was only about 1 minute old and only cav had reached our area so far). I only hit his horse AFTER he died. And the report came up for him so that he could press M and report me for a team attack. (herp derp)

2-3 seconds? Probably hit the horse a second or so after that friendly had died, usually the horse is still under the riders control for that time - he can steer it a bit, also gets kills credited to himself, rather than the horse, if it bump-kills someone in that time. That would also explain him being able to report you.

Listen, because his horse is his best friend, and you killed him after the owner of the horse got killed. So he wants revenge!
