Hi everybody,

We are a french team on cRPG, and recruiting mature and french-speaking players.
To join us, it's simple, just send a PM or post below. You can go on our forum too.
We try to develop a particular system with tactics formations, roleplay and fun.

However, to join us, some requirements must be met:

- Being fluent in french
- Being 18 or older
- Using Mumble or TS
- Being able to follow orders of your superiors
- Being able to team working
- Being able to regulary visit our forum
- Wearing our tag Ecorcheur_ and our banner
- Never harming the Ecorcheurs with disrespectful behavior
- Using Steam is better

Our Story


The Ecorcheurs were armed bands who desolated France in the reign of Charles VII, stripping their victims of everything, often to their very clothes.
They were mercenaries without employment since the Treaty of Arras which ended disputes between Armagnacs and Burgundian in 1435.

Greetings young good-for-nothing!
Now that you are a member of the band, we are going to have to supply you armors and weapons.

Here you will find all the necessary equipment to skim battlefields in our side.

Follow me, we are going to try to find some things in your size.

Let us begin with the light armors:
Both first ones are standard dress calling back our colors, all the following armors are armors which you can use, the last one is outfit which use for the furtive and fast raids:

As regards the intermediate armors:
All the héraldics armors are authorized:

But we prefer armors less seeing. Hey, yes we are just a little troop of mercenaries and no soldiers' regiment wearing all the same blazon. 3 first ones are the most used:

Finally the heavy armors:
The heraldic and the armors of flat are rigorous in front of a good troop of beggar.

Now, looks at helmets:
The helmets which we use are the following ones, but nothing prevent you from raising another helmet since that this transcends you in the fight. But becareful, avoid all the helmets which we can consider as exotic, if you want that we can recognize you in the fight. The last headgear, is other one than that used for the furtive raids:

For the weapons, we haven't restriction. But if you choose to fight with a shield we prefer that this carries our colors (green and yellow):

@olwen : héhé c'est vrai qu'en regardant de plus prés, ça ressemble à une bonne équipe de moustachu basanés^^.
mais bon le dessin est bien sympa et ça représente assez notre état d'esprit rustre et violent. pillages et escarmouches sont notre quotidien du coup ça colle bien.  :mrgreen:

In fact "les ecorcheurs" were armed bands  of french mercenaries who burned and kill population of france during The famous Hundred Years' War (around 1350-1450 B JC) cause french king, the good Charles VII,  fired them after the treaty of arras and "jeanne d'arc"'s death. 

So the real traduction of "ecorcheur" is slaughterer

We had 8 participants (Manouck le sanguin, Thraun, Balzamyr, Brokar, Hemmor le roublard, La buse, Tigerwhite, Warghal)

Welcome to Ecorcheur_Toko.
Also known under the name of quincy maat (leader of Quincy clan)

His alt is allowed in our clan to become the militia of Ecorcheur.

militia is a new status in Ecorcheur clan.
When you come in our clan with your alt (because your main is already in a clan). You begin as recruit again, but after you have 2 choices when you are promoted.

first, you choose to put all your characters in our clan. (because you love us  8-) ) You will be considered as soldiers.

Second, You choose to put only your alt in our row. you will be considered as Militiaman. (less responsability and right, more details in our forum).
