Title: Losing connection a lot

I lose connection a lot and its pretty annoying. I didn't experience this problem before on a different computer on the same internet. Does anyone have any ideas on how to improve my connection stability?

in win 7 and perhaps vista IDK you have something called resource monitor. Check if there are other programs using your network. Also I'm getting this a lot when playing on a weak wifi signal. Could probably be many network issues though.. I think the server kicks you if it doesn't get reliable input from you.

I have not once gotten disconnected in all my c-rpg life. Well excluding of course when the whole server goes down. And when there was a crazy storm the other day and the lights in apartment were blinking like crazy :D

Using LAN cable and dsl connection. So yeah most likely you have some torrent program on or you are on a wi-fi connection.

I keep getting randomly disconnected too. Though it only started happening often after the 0.261 patch

Tracert some IP addresses, see if you're losing packets. If you are it might range from badly plugged in cable, network card problems to software problems.

Dont use the launcher just start warband via steam that did it for me...  :?

Aren't you required to run it with the launcher for cRPG to work correctly?

Anyways i keep gettin either way thought i was gettin lucky there  :rolleyes:

Any devs who might know why our we keep losing connection ? it only started happening for me 3 weeks ago..

The game is pretty much unplayable atm...

PS: its only cRPG/warband that im losing connection too for about 7 sec my browser ect ect.. other games ect works just fine
