Title: Fauchard : What is this weapon for?

Fauchard was previously 182 length (which was fine), but got nerfed to 146 for some weird reason, and still has shit stats and can't be sheathed...

Let's compare it with the military scythe :

Military Scythe
weapon length: 155
weight: 2.5
difficulty: 13
speed rating: 89
weapon length: 155
thrust damage: 23 pierce
swing damage: 32 cut
slots: 2
3,336

Fauchard
weapon length: 146
weight: 3
difficulty: 7
speed rating: 90
weapon length: 146
thrust damage: 22 pierce
swing damage: 28 cut
slots: 2
Can't sheath
3,756

So, for 400 gold more, you get a weapon with -4 cut damage, -1 thrust damage, -9 length, unshethable, and 1 more speed. So, really, what's the point of such a bad weapon?

It was much better with a 182 length. Please give it's original length back. It was an interesting niche weapon back then.

The weapon is 146 long, 182 was a bad copypasta from Scythe. Obviously we can't give 182 reach to a 146 reach weapon. Price will be adjusted and it will be made sheathable again.

Drop the swing damage by 2 and make it pierce, and it could be the poor man's bec de corbin.

It already looks like a pierce weapon.

Actually, in the end we (Shik) decided to resize it to 170ish (the model as well) and adjust price accordingly.

Good idea. There should be more 170+ swingable weapon, even if this means low damage / speed. Scythe is the only one currently, which is sad considering it's a peasant weapon...
