Guys, I heard the opinion that rain influences damage/accuracy of bows and xbows. I have never noticed that before, but I may not be the sharpest bolt in the quiver, if you know what I mean...
So, I'd like to see what good archers and xbowman think about it.

it affects the drop rate and projectile speed of your missiles. The overall effect is very slight, so don't beat yourself up for not noticing it.
-
Unless I misinterpreted something badly, crossbow damage is also reduced to 75%.

Now, this is something devastating. Can you share the source of this fantastic intel?

Never mind, I did misinterpret something badly. :D
Looks like the 75% was related to bolt speed. Arrow speed seems to drop to 90%.
-
i heard that it affects only xbow

slower projectile speed= less damage. I wouldn't say you misinterpretted it that badly.

I've never found it that noticeable.

Come to think of it, those I shoot on rainy maps do tend to take more arrows...
-
come to think it would be fun to have a 0.1% percent chance of slipping in the mud when its raining. Should have an extra animation though, with feets high in the air. totally absurd and unnecessary of course. :P

Although I deeply hate archers/xbowmen this should be removed for balance purposes.

its a weather effect, so why would you want to remove it, in rainy weather horses ride slower would you like to remove that also ? its cool that dynamics of battlefield are changed with weather imo
