Title: Long Awlpike, Bamboo Spear, Pike.

1. Can you return possiblity to use Long Awlpike with shield again?

Because now it is almost useless weapon [for hoplites], and it was nice hoplite weapon!

2. You should buff Bamboo Spear a bit. Pike is atm longer, has a bit higher dmg and, due to what these weaps are used, 10 more rtng speed isnt too big advantage for bamboo spear. So buff a dmg a bit or buff speed rtng a bit more.

Long awlpike is pretty ridiculous to be used in one hand with a shield so it was removed for a reason. it is still a good weapon and kill very effectively without a shield.

Bamboo spear being faster but less damage/range is a good trade off. Pros and cons. Also, 10 speed is pretty huge man.

Hoplite? With an long awlpike? ^^

Besides, a warspear is an effective hoplite weapon and actually goes with the style.

Against weak armored opponents, sure, but you whiff way more and do much less damage than the awlpike with a war spear.

Awlpikes have penalty with shield so they do less damage actually.

It means damage penalty, too. At least on twohanders which can be used in 1h... and I'm very sure with spears, too.

Anyway, heirloomed warspear more or less instakills people with speed bonus and 6-7 PS, can't complain about it at all except range for anti-horse work sometimes.
