No, there should not be. The majority of team hitting is an accident, mostly from slashing through a dying enemy to hit a teammate, or the equipment screen.

Not to mention people who run infront of you at the last minute to kill steal, deliberately getting in the way of your swing...

I voted yes. People who get in my way and prevent me from hitting/killing an enemy deserve to be penalized.

Yes many teamhits are accidental.

But many more, while not deliberate, are due to simply not caring about hitting teammates.

I second this, I too want people to stop getting in the way of my swings or shots, and if they recieved a penalty everytime they got in my way then we would see a lot less team wounds.
