Has anyone ever re-specced and then instantly regretted the decision?
I was lv 24, 1h cav...and after a couple drinks late at night I figured I'd respec and try 2h. "No problem," I thought, "I'll just trade my looms for 2h looms and give it a try." Re-speccing from lv 24 to 20 cost me about 10 hours of play time.
Now I'm regretting my decision, and I"m having a hard time trading my items for any useful 2h gear. Should I respec back again, and lose a total of 15 hours play time, or just bear with it? What is your experience?

Whenever I get the urge to respec/retire I create a new STF alt to play around with.
If that doesn't satisfy me, I stop playing and go do something else :)

15 hours isn't all that much :P, easily got back =), your character should reflect the class you want to play, otherwise it will bore you stiff.
speaking of respec regrets respecced at lvl 31 + a 1/2, and straight away put to much into str xD.

I respecced 4 times one week. I hated each one and ended back with pole cav xD. I am making stf alts now to see and i wanna go agi 2 hander but i dunno if i will regret xD.
I also once respecced at level 30, put it all in archery instead of poles, and lost about a day...

Yeah did that too. Was at 7.5 million xp and respecced, immediately messed up my build, so I respecced again. That was like 60 hours of xp gain gone.
They should implement a regret option that stays available for an hour. For morons like me, and apparently Senni.

i respecced and got a MW arbalest, didn't like it and I am now polearm, try trading a MW arbalest after this patch

Biggest bummer for me is the 7 day cool down on STF characters, quite happy with my 2H main right now, just takes to long to try new builds for alts.

Lol I tried 3 classes in 1 week was always at~lvl 23-27 sucked every class up and went back to 2her.
I used to be lvl 30 before the respeccing party :3

yes me dunno If you rode my respeccing whine and stuff in IRC
first I were Archer as lvl 26 respecced to xbower the respecced archer then I just respecced again cus I skilled 1 attribute to much then I respecced to cav then respecced to polearm I think thats all cus I'm a polarmer now
Also that all happened very fast like 3 days...
Maybe I forgot some respec but I lost on respeccing about 4.5 million...
PS: I also whined in IRC to disable my respec function... they didnt't :/

Nope. I haven't retired in like three months and I play almost every day. I do just fine at levels 24-27, so when I get bored with a class I respec. Grinding to level 31 is boring.
