The English version for Wikipedia has been temporarily closed as a protest against the suggested SOPA (or PIPA) legislation.
Fucking fucking fuck. More and more sites follow Wikipedia's example and close down as well.

This is the first time since 2006 the MSM mentions the SOPA act, all due to Wikipedia being down for a day. Now it can no longer be ignored. Most know nothing about this bill that is basically about taking the last bastion of freedom from the people.

Yes, the media censorship on this subject is the usual support the strong against the weak approach, media brings what elites and advertisers want them to (as demonstrated by the Herman and Chomsky's propaganda model), even when it's so immensively important as the SOPA and PIPA acts.
Like most other important things happening on the World scene this should have been all over the media back when it was first discussed, but wasn't.
It's disgusting some of the giants like Google and Facebook won't do more, Google's protest seems symbolical at best, and we also need some of the gaming companies to join in, boycotting E3 (which is hosted by the EPA, staunch supporters of these bills), bigshots like EA, Activision Blizzard and Ubisoft.

Yeah every webpage Ive gone on has had a big black CLOSED (but not really, click here) thing.
I dont think its going to pass anyway, the entire internets has signed that petition.
