For the sake of my boxer, make Heavy gauntlets heavier when loomed. If its possible, leave the other gauntlets as it is else. But for heavy gauntlets, increase weight on loom.
Preeeaaase

Agreed.
-
So looming makes them worse? Stupid idea, isn't it?
-
Gauntlet weight gets added to punch damage. So the heavy it is, the more dmg it deals. Though, it doing ANY damage at all is awesomeXD I was just punching people in 50 head armour and they'll flinch :D Barely any damage, but hilarious nevertheless.
-
Ok, I forgot about that new punch damage. But as gauntlet weight already gets doubled during penalty calculation it would be more a disadvantage then an advantage. Esp as punching has almost no use ingame except for the lols.

If you're using heavy gauntlets you need to stop, leave it for the real men who punch first and ask questions later.
+1 for +3 kg on heavy gauntlets per loom, yes yes.
-
what about +1 or + 3 weapons and armours increase weight per loom . no no

Let's modify the game for my niche build guys! Never stop contributing these well thought out ideas to make CRPG better.

I'm not using heavy gauntlets - I just fear if it makes it way into some patch the other gauntlets (scale gauntlets on my side) get an increased weight too

Actually, the dev team modifies the game for niche builds quite a bit. Crushthrough builds for example started as niche before people realized it was stupid op. Hoplite builds got an indirect buff through making ashwood pike useful. Pikemen got nerfed due to...well pikes got really nerfed.
Crpg pretty much consists OF niche builds. My 7 riding build can also be considered niche since most horsemen just make do with 6. I could go on for a long time, hope you get the point.

Yeah, this is why I'm not really expecting anything :P Dunno if its possible to single out heavy gauntlets for specific looms. Though I never really notice people with them anyways, most people like the look of lower weight/armour ones, especially if loomed.

Your not allowed to spawn without a weapon anyway... :!:
Not even if your carrying construction stuff... :?:

Wow, i wasn't aware that hoplite, pikeman, and maul user were niche. See, i would have thought that something like a full agi thrower or a boxing build would be niche, and that classes that you see in droves on servers every day would be standard, but then that's why i don't pump out the stellar ideas like this one.

Yo, just make a new "spiked gauntlet" that is super heavy. It will only be useful for unarmed fighting, so it won't affect balance at all. The thing shouldn't be too powerful, but hurt enough to make sense conceptually as a "spiked gauntlet".

Now this is a good idea.
