Title: riding skill bonus

is there still one?  i had 8 riding at one point and was maaaaybe just barely faster than a buddy with 6 riding.  so is there a bonus at all or was it my imagination that
speed-nah,  maneuver- a bit?

cav seems to be a bit slow anyway
but i think they increased the Bump damage

I think it's a slight advantage if you have say 8 riding on a courser vs 6 riding you should (in theory) go faster, but I'm not really sure if that's the case. 
I know they lowered all the overall speed bonus given per riding skill, but I think it's still there (even though it's very very small).
