Title: Discussion and trolling opportunity :D

Situation 1
- Being able to attack your own fief is reported as a bug, although it is never acknowledged as such by Devs
- Fallen then deliberately use that bug to gain a Strat advantage over another clan
- Devs immediately hit Fallen with a punishment to remove the advantage gained

Situation 2
- Union attack a Castle and an equipment bug is discovered and reported where the castles wastes its gold on Dresses
- The bug is then acknowledged and assigned to chadz in the new MantisBT tracking system
- DRZ and Hospitaller have since attacked castles as well
- Whilst it can be weakly argued that DRZ and Hospitaller were not aware of the bug on their initial castle attacks, DRZ have since made 2 further Castle attacks and gained an advantage in Strat
- Devs have immediately............ ?

Pot stirred.  Time to sit back and see who bites :D  Unless of course everybody really has given up on Strat and no longer cares ;)

1) Give Fallen and 80k incentive to get back in the game.

2) Do not punish anyone for taking advantages of bugs in strat, unless the bug can not be resolved and the devs make it widely known that it is too difficult to fix and is therefore a punishable act if you take advantage of bug x and you will get kick in the balls really, really hard.

3) Fix the castle issue.

4) Give everyone is strat 1k gold to get the ball sped up and get people back in the game (could be a horrible idea but meh)

6) A gear list should be written into each castle, that gear list should rep the area in the game. ie nords get nords gear etc etc. Same goes for large towns.

6) Gate entry should be tested for all the castles and cities

I think the idea of punishing people for taking advantage of a bug/feature should be scraped. This stuff isn't perfect and it won't be. There is a limited amount of testing that the devs can and should be bothered to do. So when a bug/feature like attacking your own fiefs comes up the devs should acknowledged it, fix or create a rule for it and then we can all move on.
