So, the Broad One Handed Battle Axe has secondary mode. If you press "x" it will switch sides, as I understand. But in the description this weapons has only "35 cut", what would be then the second position damage? And if there isn't , why not?
Thanks

Weapons with secondary modes say their stats in the equipment page ingame.

if i got good memory it is 25p with a small speed change of minor 1 or plus 1.

It's 25p and 99 SPD for +0 axe.

Correct. When you go into secondary it does 25p and goes from 98 speed to 99 speed. I can't recall if it changes the length at all though.
This is the 1h I always roll around with. I used to use a knightly arming sword but against decently armored people I would glance too often with 5 power strike. Even on the cut I never glance any more, and obviously I can switch to pierce and swing from 3 directions (where if you use a 1h sword vs a heavy armored person they know they really only have to worry about your stabbing pierce).

a little funny thing I got:
a 35 cut wep with 6ps 18 str and 140 wpf will do:
against 0 armor:
Minimum: 59
Average: 59
Maximum: 59
against 20
Minimum: 31
Average: 37.5
Maximum: 44
against 40 armor guy,
Minimum: 12
Average: 21.5
Maximum: 31
and against 60
Minimum: 1
Average: 10.5
Maximum: 20
and a 25 p with same stat
against 0
Minimum: 43
Average: 43
Maximum: 43
against 20
Minimum: 26
Average: 30
Maximum: 34
against 40
Minimum: 13
Average: 19.5
Maximum: 26
against 60
Minimum: 4
Average: 11.5
Maximum: 19
theoretically, it seem it became advantageous to switch to pierce only when guy is wearing 50 + armor
pierce
Minimum: 8
Average: 15
Maximum: 22
cut
Minimum: 5
Average: 15
Maximum: 25
so if you saw someone with armor better than sarranid guard armor (i don't forget the glove) switch to pierce!

And it's not just about the damage. Pierce glances less frequently than cut. And the secondary mode grants 1 extra speed to boot.

With correct formula - Vargas' toolkit has outdated one - you'll notice that pierce at wpf 140 and ps 6 does slightly less damage even against 80 armor and both cut and pierce glance approximately as much (my excel sheet has armors in increments of 5 and both minimum damages are 1 at 75 and 0 at 80)
If it was 35c vs 28p pierce would be better starting from 55 armor. At 27p pierce would be better starting at 60 armor. At 26p pierce would start being better err... 75 armor. Same average damage but probably slightly less likely to glance.

Yeah this is the only way to get the real stats. The HTML lies sometimes; for instance my balanced heavy lance is 2 slots, but in HTML it is listed as 1 slot. Also, it's named "Tempered Heavy Lance" instead of balanced in HTML, except on the marketplace.

oh... didn't knew it!

So basically, there's no difference. Only against the very heavy armoured people you might glance a bit less, but that's about it. Might aswell take a pick for piercing power.
