Title: Starting up a clan
Post by: Ze_Comp on December 28, 2011, 07:43:38 am
As the title suggests i have a few people already, but completely unsure as to how to even make the clan and all official.

1. Create name for clan

2. Make thread in Faction Halls

3. Wear clan tag

4. Enjoy

Other things:

1. Create faction in Strategus

2. Find a teamspeak / ventrilo / mumble

3. Recruit members

Download the wolves banner pack , find a banner that hasn't been modified , make your own banner , ask in the wolves banned pack topic to add your banner

You start by adding a clan tag to you and your friends character names and using the same banner. Getting a good mumble or ts server is the next step, because a clan needs teamspeak. Consider asking around, maybe you can get a separate channel on an exisiting TS server...

Also consider:
- getting a forum
or
- use a skype group conversation (nice and easy to set up but and surprisingly practical, although it might get spammy... set the notifications so that skype doesn't notify you after every sentence, but only if specific keywords are mentioned)

And eventually, you'll want your own special clan banner and maybe even a clan pack with modified intro and menu textures and such...  :)

If you do plan on using TS consider NDitions Teamspeak.

One of the most popular teamspeaks for cRPG clans :)

Have a look at the thread (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,6471.0.html).
