Title: Hiiigh Ping

Hey guys. Would like to start by saying MERRRY CHRISSTMAS..

Anyway, i have got a niice new gaming laptop but for M&B my ping is crazy-lik 500.. On my PC i get playable pings like 50, but no matter what i try icannot seem to get my ping down on my laptop. I know its christmas and ppl have other stuff to do, but please help me asap so i can get back to crpg,and pwn some new christmas noobs ;D

Wireless doesn't give high ping.
New computer also mean Update. Updating windows using bandwidth maybe. Or ciblings downloading in the other computer.

Dunno, shitty wireless. Maybe something else connected to that same wireless or through the same connection is eating up all the bandwidth.

The high ping could be a result of "bad" wireless signals (too far away, too many obsticles like walls, maybe interfering on the same channel as other ssids), old technique (a,b possibly g) or just a crappy onboard wifi module.
Also: "gaming laptop" means there's prob a shitton of useless 30-day-trial stuff preinstalled and running in the background, could also be one of those...

Hmmm, ping seems to have gone back down to 50, although lags are very frequent. Thanks to ll who helped. Have great xmas.

Turn off any download program

I have wireless and my ping is 40.

Wireless is horrible for gaming. Get rid of wireless.
