So here is my idea to fix whine about repair getting too high aka less fun factor!
put, on the website, a function where you can play for 30 min without any repair!! this will be only once a day (aka 24 hour cooler time).
I think this will hardly be OP, gear don't add skillz by magic.
this will add a bit of fun factor on this game, giving an opportunity to casual AND hardcore player to put on there parade gear to show off a pit and, mainly have FUN without killing wallet with 5k repair bill.
this will finally add a bit of diversity and give an opportunity for everyone to enjoy their fashion armor once in a while.

You can already put on your parade gear. The problem at the moment is more that the parade gear sucks.

This is a pretty good idea, it would give players a short break from the economical aspect to flash their heavy duty gear or bust out their tank characters.
Really, 30 minutes a day is nothing compared to the amount of time that cRPG servers have a decent amount of players on, and it will add variety to the game by almost ensuring there will be the occasional plated knight around on the server to spice things up (and really, who doesn't love killing peasants while in full plate every once in a while?)
One of the best reasons for this would be to have coordinated groups of heavy duty fighters show up on the servers every once in a while to crush teams and attack with heavy armor.

nah, this was my wild suggestion for xmas eve, this suggestion don't apply to old old player like you (you gain the right, after marvelous effort to put plate and don't care about money)

yup, but atleast you would now brag around with your sucking parade gear without paying unnecessary cost!

I think the idea is perfect as it is, except for maybe prolonging the free upkeep time to one hour a day.
I'm a more casual player, and I'd love not to worry about the upkeep cost when I get to play some.

Nice idea but 30 minutes a day is way too much time. I would say 30 minutes per week is good enough.
