Title: Get back the side/T swings with long voulge and swiss halberd !!

The combat is lots and lots harder for the players with polearm, why would the T swings get removed from some polearms ?!

Polearms are in dire straights these days, hopefully they will get some love next round of nerfs. I cant stand not being able to sheath my bread and butter long awlpike, since it used to look so badass on my back. The fact is the weapons should have a side swing, just friggin lower the speed instead of making it silly, especially the now useless voulge, who would ever use that weapon now, very few ever did pre nerf.

Play xmascRPG, many of the polearms had sideswing back then.  Have fun.

Halberd is fine without l/r swings. I use nothing but 2 directional polearms (and the longspear) never have any need of sideswings tbh. No sideswings makes it much easier to do spin thrusts. :P

It's possible not to suck with two directional weapons. If you find that you do suck with said weapons, change your damn weapon. Problem solved. I wouldn't use my BattleFork if I could swing it all four directions.

swiss halberd replaced the looney toons axe which had a side swing (native 'poleaxe')

Halberds very good baladced weapons. I play with them.
but Long voulge need buff, poor thrust damage, low speed, its useless weapon today. Need up specifics or get back side swings.

It was nerfed mainly for strat afaik

ok i will possibly, not use the long voulge now anymore. I did know that the swiss halberd never had L/R swings.

If it is so that the long voulge sucks, i will use swiss pike the next.
