seriously, u nerfed them why are they still 17k with upkeep of 1250. Plus the weight slowing you down if u use them.
Most expensive helmet is only 9k wtf.
this shit ain't right.

Agree i dont use the gauntlets an i feel sry for everyone who are stuck with em because they now hold no value on the marketplace :?
I don't understand the huge insane price jump from plate mittens to heavy gauntlets especially after the nerf......
-
All the gloves need to be looked at and repriced to be honest.
-
To be fair, some gloves already have been repriced (Like leather now only costing 100 due to 1 protection and 0.1 weight now). Mail Mittens I think were also repriced.
The higher end gloves though seem rather ludicrous now, I do agree.

Just lower all by 1000(All after Wisby, all before wisby including wisby only by 500)

So leather gloves would now be -400 gold, which means the player earns 400 gold whenever purchased one?
-
My lordly scale gauntlets lost 1/3 of its armorpoints but still needs heavy repairs. Make them cheaper now!

Yes.Because they suck so much you need to pay someone to wear them.
-
Main issue with this imo is that it kills diversity. Before you could wear lighter armor with heavier gloves to get medium protection, albeit more expensive. But still viable.
Now that option is just gone, and wearing anything above mail mittens seems rather silly to me (and they're fugly compared to the rest! Q_Q)
I can understand if you don't want people to pump armor value with extremely heavy gloves, but there was, imo, nothing wrong with the pricing on them.

Word.
I was telling it all the time, but nobody listened.Well, have fun now because you will rarely see any Armor under Studded leather coeat, and even that one will be rather rare.
Ill stick to my Ragged outfit still, though.
The only good thing emerging from that fucking nerf is that I can just loom my Ragged outfit now because it will have the same loom bonuses as Heavier armors.

would be nice if the devs would comment on this outrageous price diffrence :|

Hm? What do you mean? Heavy gauntlets, for example, give 7 more armor. Scale gives 3 more. You'd have to "pay" 7 and 3 lbs in weight, respectively, if you wanted to get that armor rating from your body armor.
-
Its called Price/Service ratio.
The only real choice left if you consider it are the mail mittens.
If you go for style, they are pretty much the worst choice though ;D
-
new item: sponsored gloves. you get paid to wear them.

You'd actually have to pay 1.8 and 4.2 weight respectively for body armor. For gloves 0.7(*2 for wpf) and 1.8(*2 for wpf) respectively. A difference, sure, but not a huge one imo.
compared to the price difference it's very little at least.

Gloves affect WPF more but the weight doesn't get multiplied when running speed is considered, afaik. Otherwise they might as well have the multiplied weight on the website. But yeah, I don't really see the problem. Unless you're cav or an archer you should be able to wear anything you want and be able to upkeep it.

Yeah, that's what my sloppy use of parenthesis were trying to explain, in vain :P
