Title: RIFT-Roman Invasion Force of Task-Started by Terath

Let's make this quick. Most faction joins are long and irritating.
We are the Roman Invasion Force of Task. RIFT for short. We specialize in One handed swords, Throwing weapons (Preferably spears,) and shields. Oh the shields. NOW. Lets move on to what you have to do to apply, and everything else on top of dat.

DRESS CODE.

The Dress Code
-Your One handed sword = Short Arming Sword. It fits.

-Your Armor (Light Division) = Leather Boots, Leather Jerkin, Leather Warrior Cap.

-Your Armor (Heavy Division) = Rus Calvary Boots,Byrnie, Nordic Leather Helmet with Rings.

-Your shield and throwing weapon = Plain Board Shield, And the javelin for throwing.

Put the Tags in your name (RIFT_Yournamehere), and the flag, which is the Orange eagle, 3rd page, On the bottom.

Liuyedao similar to a gladius? Because it doesn't have a hilt? What am I reading? The gladius was a short stabbing sword, so you pick a sword with no stab? :lol:

If you actually wanted to simulate legionnaire gear, the best pick would probably be something like: Short arming sword or Scottish sword, [Heavy] Board shield, Throwing spears, Nordic fighter helmet, Byrnie, bare feet and hands.

Now see here's the thing. I wanted it all to be cheap. Things like the Heavy board shield is 5000. So i cant really do that.

I also have a roman RP character and heres what i use

Head-Cavalry Chichak (I feel this is closest to roman helmets)
Body-Druzhina Mail Shirt
Foot-Rus shoes (Greaves also work)
Gloves-Mail Mittens
Sword-Nordic Sword(Looks like a Spatha), Nordic war sword ( Gladius )

In my opinion Arming swords don't look like Gladius/Spathas
