Title: Use more of Dejawolf's Helmets
Post by: Korgoth on December 15, 2011, 11:32:53 pm
In OpenBrf there are more Helmets made by Dejawolf. I think a lot more of them should be added in.

Mail Coifs. These coifs are a lot better than the crappy native one we have now. All three should be added.

There's already a thread about this: http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,21291.0.html

But I'm all for adding all those helmets.

Especially the great bascinet (second helmet from the left, second row "great helms"), as I use a similar one.

It's armour rating would need to be as high as the armets, though. Those things were very, very, very protective.

The collar might look weird when moving and swinging though, as the armet already looks weird ...
Maybe remove the collar?

All those helmets look much better ingame by the way, due to the lightning and stuff.

I want the coifs and the Norman Helms the most. Those are so cool. I love the full face coif :D

I know they are already in there. I'm just asking for them to added them in.

I love the mail coif with the eye-holes, I think it'd be really popular. Spiderman haha.

Yeah lol.

I do really want to see these helmets in the game. They are already in the crpg files, just not select-able through the website or something?

Agreed, always wondered why more of Dejawolf's work wasn't included.

There's also all of Dejawolf's axes, models that could override the horrible fantasy Long Axe, Long War Axe and Greater Long Axe ( I know these have been suggested for inclusion before ), and also Rathos' retextured versions of these ( from Vikingr ) which has proper wood color for the shafts ( Dejawolf mistakenly used a wood type that was never used for axes ).

Rathos has also made retextures of many of Dejawolfs armors, for example different colored Byrnjas.

Here's a link to some of Rathos' work, including mailles, seaxes, swords, franciscas and helmets http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,160138.0.html

Those previews are not at all representative of all his models however, but I think it's the only place he has posted a few pictures except for the old Einherjar forum which no longer exists.
