Dunno if its in Native Warband or just cRPG, Haven't reproed it yet in native.
When starting a round with a Xbow on your back (unloomed Light xbow) the xbow is visually undrawn.

After drawing the xbow into the players hands the xbow draws itself (visually, even thought there is always a bolt in the xbow at the start of the round) (http://i44.tinypic.com/5as2ef.jpg)
And when the Xbow is placed back onto the players back it stays drawn, as it should be during the start of the round.

Just something i noticed.
Work at EA as a tester so i notice shit like this haha.
